WHAT WE DO
Inspire empower and motivate.
We want to inspire, empower, and motivate grassroots African women to adapt their cultural arts and craft heritage knowledge and skills for opportunities, especially in England. This helps enhance their communities' lives and influences policymakers and decision-makers on issues of concern, especially arts, cultural heritage, health and education.

Positive change
AWADGlobal is a pioneer in celebrating African women's art and culture, championing this vital work for decades. We uniquely emphasize the connection between these traditions and human/environmental well-being. Support AWADGlobal to empower artists and preserve their invaluable heritage.
AWADGlobal has achieved significant success by leveraging arts and culture as tools for bringing people together and fostering intercultural understanding. The organisation's projects have facilitated interactions among diverse groups of African women, enabling them to recognise their contributions through artistic and cultural knowledge.
These initiatives have also fostered intergenerational connections, affirmed African identity, and improved community well-being and belonging. AWADGlobal has used arts and culture to enhance physical and mental health, raise expectations, and promote active, informed living.
